Israel DAWSON (6Aug1850-????) was a "Boilermaker" (1871, 1881, 1891), a "Boiler Plater" (1886), a "Boiler Smith" (1901) and a "Bridge Plater" (1906) in Stockton-on-Tees. Israel married Ann CAWOOD on 1 Jun 1873 in Leeds, West Riding Yorkshire. Their children were:

His brother, Job DAWSON (8Aug1847-????), also moved his family to Stockton. Job was a "Cloth Fuller" (1861) in Pudsey, a "Labourer in Iron Works" (1871), a "Labourer at Foundry" (1891) and a "Blacksmith's Striker (1901) in Stockton. Job married Annie HARRISON of Liverpool, Lancashire. They married in 1878 in Liverpool.

Another brother, Paul William DAWSON (12Nov1841-1901), also moved to Stockton but then married and moved on to Halkyn, Holywell, Flintshire, Wales. He was an "Engine Fitter" (1881) in Stockton. In Wales, Paul was also employed as an "Fitter" (1891) and an "Engine Fitter (1901). Paul died there between July and September 1901.
