Parmontley; deserted medieval village.

Also spelled Parmontley Hall.  The earliest documentation in the NRO relating to Parmontley dates to 1363.  It can be found on Speed's map of Northumberland, 1610, but it is spelled Permandley

June 26  The will of Matthew CORREY of Parmontley Hall is probated in London.  His wife, Elizabeth, and a daughter, Jane, are mentioned.  Matthew RITTSON is a witness.
