Sheeprigge is marked on modern Ordanance Survey maps on the west side of the river Tyne, just north of Alston (ok....it's in Cumberland)

Of three properties left in the will of John Wallas, of Alston Moor, Sheeprigg goes to his son, Thomas (Foul Loming and 1/2 of Harbut Law goes to his son, Richard).

Sheep rigges is left by Thomas Wallas, who died a batchelor, to his brothers, Richard and William, to be shared between them.
